We love to celebrate talented local artists. Each year, the festival holds a juried art contest to select the art for the cover of our festival program. The winning artist becomes our featured artist for the year and enjoys many benefits including special promotions and a free booth at the festival. The contest opens in June and the winner is chosen in August.

Linda Kelly
Special congratulations to Linda Kelly of Ramona, CA for winning our 2024 Art Contest!
This vibrant painting captures the essence of our Ramona Art, Wine & Music Festival and the community of Ramona. It depicts a resemblance to one of our top singers in Ramona with her pink cowgirl boots and guitar overlooking lush vineyards under a bright blue sky. To her left are the brushes that painted her and the barrel on the right displays a bottle of red with glasses of wine and another guitar, a festive atmosphere.
An artist with over 3 decades of experience in the realm of fine art, Linda has dedicated her creative journey to exploring the vibrant world of watercolor, acrylics, and mixed media.
Her artistic expressions encapsulate a fusion of these mediums. Proudly nestled in the heart of Ramona, CA, Linda says “My gallery serves as a sanctuary where art enthusiasts, collectors and art students can immerse themselves in my distinctive creations. Open every Saturday & Sunday 10-3, 976 Main St, the gallery stands as a testament to my lifelong commitment to the arts.”
Linda also shares her passion through engaging in her ‘Sip & Paint’ classes. These sessions offer a unique opportunity for budding artists to explore their creativity in a relaxed social setting. Her classes are posted on the Linda Kelly Art Facebook page under events.
