We love to celebrate talented local artists. Each year, the festival holds a juried art contest to select the art for the cover of our festival program. The winning artist becomes our featured artist for the year and enjoys many benefits including special promotions and a free booth at the festival. The contest opens in June and the winner is chosen in August.

Terry Truett
Special congratulations to Terry Truett of Ramona, CA for winning our 2025 Art Contest!
This creative and vibrant painting shows some key components that make up the Festival and Ramona itself, blending music and wine in a swirl of color and motion. Bold musical notes and a treble clef dance across a rainbow background, while a glass of red wine is dramatically poured, connecting sound, taste, and energy in one lively composition.
Terry Truett is a self-taught multimedia artist living in Ramona. Her art is vibrant, colorful, and full of life depicting natures’ beauty as she experienced living throughout Latin America, Europe and the United States. Born in Costa Rica and raised in Panama explains her love for colorfully rich paintings ranging from coastal themes to inspirational sunsets. While living on the Gulf Coast, Terry’s art was featured in several venues in New Orleans and in other cities along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Her work is appreciated by art lovers around the world. She has collectors in Europe, Latin America, and throughout the United States. As an artist, her hope is to deliver into people’s lives the joy and happiness her themes bring to her.
