2025 Live Auction
2025 Live Auction
Our famous live auction is a primary fundraiser at the festival. Each year, we auction fine art embellished indoor and outdoor furnishings. The items are created by local fine artists who donate their time to the cause. The auctioned items are done in a theme that celebrates art, and wine and music as well as things unique to Ramona, CA, such as our historical museum or American Graffiti cruise nights. We hope you will join us for the festival and take part in the auction.
Our 2025 Auctioneer will be Josh Lawson. Josh was born and raised in San Diego. He realized in grade school that he was able to control just about any situation with humor. For the next 10 years his teachers had their hands full. Josh first took the stage in 2010 and quickly became the one of the most sought-after emcees in San Diego. Hosting comedy shows, award banquets. We are pleased to have Josh back again, donating his time to the festival and bringing us an enjoyable and successful auction.

Hand Painted Wine Barrel

One of Ramona’s acclaimed muralists, he painted two murals, La Quinceañera and The Garden, as well as two utility boxes for the Project. Johnathan brings his bright and beautiful style to yet another wine barrel this year. His 2024 barrel achieved the highest bid ever for a Festival live auction item.

Artist: Johnathan Martinez
Johnathan Martinez delivers artwork with the express goal of enticing the audience to form an emotional connection to his work while reinforcing the ideals of family, love, friendship and the joy of living life. He is dedicated to promoting these values and strengthening his community by providing support to local community programs via donations of sales proceeds.
Considering his paintings a celebration of color, Johnathan focuses his themes around family and love. His representational works possess a primitive quality yet are quite contemporary. His pieces are painted without faces in order to allow the audience to project themselves into the painting and reminisce of a tender moment with one or more of their loved ones.
Johnathan’s ultimate desire is to brighten people’s lives by producing an emotional connection with his work. Generally showcasing his artwork locally, Johnathan has garnered quite a positive response even when selling in venues outside of his town of Ramona. Bold painting strokes and vibrant colors are Johnathan’s hallmark and his painting style really stands out in a crowd.
Johnathan is perhaps one of Ramona’s most identifiable artists, with colorful paintings and stylized figures without faces. Johnathan has been a regular contributor to the Ramona H.E.A.R.T. Mural scene, with 2 murals.
His mural, “La Quinceañera,” painted on the east side of Leslie’s Pool Supplies at 1905 Main St., is indicative of his craft and his colorful birds and insects in The Garden mural at Main Street Coffee, 680 Main St. demonstrates his versatility. He has also painted 2 Utility Boxes, and contributed his art and barrel art in several Ramona Art, Wine & Music Festivals.
