2025 Live Music

2025 Music
The Ramona music scene has gone wild! Talented musicians can be found playing somewhere in Ramona just about any day of the week. A festival that celebrates Ramona would not be complete without music, which is why in 2024, we changed our name from the Ramona Art and Wine Festival to the Ramona, Art, Wine & Music Festival.
We have partnered with Ramona Music Alliance (RMA) founders Jon Hasz and Ashley E. Norton to bring you an exciting line-up of a dozen local performances to the festival this year. You will hear music all day across four stages. Sip, shop and eat while you enjoy the talented musicians below.

Dana Duplan
Dana Duplan is a singer-songwriter-guitarist currently residing in the rural town of Ramona, California. With a father from New Orleans and a mother from Texas/New Mexico, there was always a variety of good tunes in the house, and his interest in music developed at a very young age. After spending a couple of years thumping on a homemade cigar box guitar with fishing line for strings, his parents surprised him with his first real guitar on his tenth birthday. Dana’s dedication to developing and improving his skills as a musician started immediately and his passion burns to this day. Dana has primarily focused on American roots-based music since he began performing over fifty years ago…an eclectic mix of Country, Western, Folk, Blues, Swing, Old-Timey, and humorous Novelty songs, some even dating back to the beginning of recorded music!

Dirty Confetti
Ramona-based five-piece band, Dirty Confetti has been providing musical entertainment for live audiences throughout Southern California, and as far afield as Las Vegas, since 2019. They were recognized the same year as Best New Country Band/Adult by the West Coast Country Music Association. The band performs a blend of country’s classic and contemporary hits, along with original compositions by lead guitarist, Travis Billy Ross, affectionately known as “Velvis” among his bandmates for his signature delivery of their velvety lead vocals. Favorite artists covered include Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams (Senior, Junior and III), Conway Twitty, Merle Haggard, George Strait, Cody Jinks, David Alan Coe, Jamey Johnson, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, The Judds, and many others.

Elizabeth Bowersox
Elizabeth Bowersox is a classically trained singer turned country/Americana artist. Graduating with a degree in classical voice performance from the University of Colorado Boulder at the height of the pandemic, she found herself spending hours listening to—and singing—classic rock and country music. Self-taught on acoustic guitar as a form of creative expression, Elizabeth quickly transitioned into songwriting and performing her own original music. After moving back home to San Diego, and finding healing through music, she released her debut EP, California Queen, in May 2025. The following June, she made her festival debut at the Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival, leaving her mark as an emerging artist alongside acts like Midland, Wyatt Flores, Kylie Morgan, Annie Bosko, and Larkin Poe. Elizabeth’s music embodies themes of self-love, perseverance, and deep SoCal soul. Her style reflects her swanky personality and ingrained passion for performance and healing through music. You can find Elizabeth performing regularly as a solo artist and with her band, The Kicks.
Kaylee Daugherty
Kaylee Daugherty is a staple singer and songwriter of the San Diego jazz scene. She has had the privilege to play at some of Socal’s finest establishments, including Lou Lou’s, Seaworld, the USS Midway, Music Box, The Jazz Lounge, Dizzy’s, the Drake, the Ritz-Carlton, the Fairmont Grand Del Mar, Hotel Del and the Westgate with San Diego’s best jazz musicians, including Irving Flores, Ed Kornhauser and Mikan Zlatkovich.

Riptide
Combining the diverse music backgrounds of country, rock, musical theater, classical and pop, the power duo of Riptide was created featuring the dynamic music and vocal talents of Julie Rogelstad and Dave Penic. Voted best cover band and female singer/songwriter San Diego Magazine for 2025, Riptide plays venues all over San Diego including several residencies and corporate as well as private events.

Thea the Band
Thea The Band is Ramona based singer-songwriter Thea Tochihara. The original sound is self-coined "Cosmic American," being a blend of lyric driven folk, emotive blues, and tap your toes rock. Whether playing a solo intimate setting sharing more personal stories about where the songs came from and what inspired them, or riding the musical waves when playing full band, the unadulterated desire to connect in a most intimate way is a constant. The belief that we want to be loved means we must also allow people to see who we truly are. After all, isn’t that what we’re here for?

Music Sponsors
We would sincerely like to thank our generous sponsors and community partners. With your support, we are able to produce a world-class festival celebrating local art, craft beverages and music. All proceeds from the festival go to support the Ramona H.E.A.R.T. Mural Project, a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Corporation with the mission of promoting tourism and economic prosperity in Ramona.
